Reza Hadisi

I am an Assistant Professor in Philosophy and the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto, St. George Campus, jointly appointed in the Graduate Department of Philosophy. For the 2026–27 academic year, I am also the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Faculty Scholar. I am also a member of the Collaborative Specialization in Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (CSAMP).

My writing and current projects are under research, and information about my teaching is, well, under teaching.

In Toronto, I regularly organize a reading group on the philosophy of imagination and co-organize an Arabic reading group (translation and philosophy). Get in touch if you'd like to join the mailing list for either group.

Here, you can find information about a conference and two local workshops I co-organized in 2025.

Once in a while, I feel artsy and take these photos.

My other name is “Mohammad Reza Karim Hadisi,” under which I have presented papers.
